We are thrilled to share that Whitey’s Harvest Chipper won first place in the Ice Cream Sandwich Category at the 2024 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest!
We are incredibly proud of the Harvest Chipper, which is a shared effort by all our manufacturing departments! The pumpkin flavor is made by mixing our special blend of spices with real pumpkin and slow roasted by our kitchen staff. This perfect blend is added to our ice cream by the manufacturing staff in order to create the perfect Pumpkin Ice Cream. The spice cookies are homemade by our baker and used to assemble the Harvest Chipper!
The World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association includes all dairy products.
Over 96 classes are judged; cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream, gelato, cottage cheese, fluid milk, dry milk, whipping cream, sour cream, and whey processors have a unique opportunity to compete in a prestigious, international all-dairy contest. The winning companies are afforded the opportunity to promote and market their products as “the best of the best”. Each entry was carefully judged by a panel of industry experts.
