Ever thought you had the perfect creation that would make a great Whitey’s Ice Cream flavor? Now is your chance to put it to the test!

Submit your flavor idea for a chance to have it created and sold in stores! All entries must be submitted to Whitey’s Ice Cream no later than 11:59 p.m. CST on Sunday, February 16 via the online entry form below. Once the contest closes on February 16, the Whitey’s Ice Cream team will narrow down the submissions to determine the two finalists. Ice cream fans will then vote online for their favorite flavor among the finalists to determine the winner.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a $50 gift card and a 3-gallon of their creation. The winning flavor will be sold in our stores sometime in 2020. The runner up will receive a $25 Whitey’s Ice Cream gift card.

Back in the days of the Whitey’s Parlour Restaurant there was menu item called the Stadium Sundae. Just for fun we made this sundae in honor of Sunday’s big game. Unfortunately it is not available in stores, but we do have an amazing assortment of treats for your watch parties!

Want to make one at home? You need a big freezer to keep it cold, but stack 20 dips of ice cream around the sides of a platter. Use whichever green ice cream you prefer for the field (Mint Chocolate Chip or a Crème de Menthe Shake) and put it in a smaller container in the center. We used marshmallow topping for the field lines. Then just use bent straws for the goal posts and finish it off with whipped cream, mixed nuts and a cherry for the end-zones!

The Whitey’s Parlour Restaurant was in business from 1973 – 1986 and featured a variety of different sundaes, meals and treats!

Happy New Year! To kick off 2020, our January Shake of the Month is Hot Fudge! It’s going to be cold out, so it’s the perfect “warmer” ice cream treat! For the month, Hot Fudge Shakes will be the price of a Regular Shake.

Our traditional Cake Roll got a makeover for the holidays with Peppermint Ice Cream or Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream! Whitey’s homemade chocolate cake is rolled up with these two delicious flavors and they are available in-store for $9.95 per Cake Roll which includes 6-8 servings.

Holiday Ice Cream Molds:

For more than 60 years we have been making Holiday Ice Cream Molds. These hand-painted, Vanilla or Crème de Menthe Ice Cream molds come in wreath, bell, Santa Claus, Christmas tree, snowmen and poinsettia shapes. Holiday Molds are available through special order for $4.99 each.

Here’s the scoop on shipping Whitey’s Ice Cream:

Our standard shipping is a two-day FedEx Express air service. Orders must be received in our order center by 2 p.m. for same-day shipping. We do not ship on holidays. Other services, such as overnight shipping and Saturday delivery, are available at an additional charge. These options are available at checkout when you select your desired arrival date using our “shipping date calendar”. If you will be entering orders that ship to multiple addresses, each order must be handled as a separate transaction.

Individual package prices do not include shipping costs. The “More info” button for each Ice Cream Package shows an estimated price (including shipping) which is meant to give you an IDEA of the total cost of the package. Actual shipping costs are calculated at checkout after the recipients shipping address is provided. All FedEx Express packages are insured for the full value. Whitey’s and FedEx cannot be responsible for orders that could not be delivered as a result of the recipient not being home to accept the delivery. We can also deliver to an office address. FedEx cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Ice Cream Package price includes your ice cream, reusable Styrofoam cooler and 10 pounds of dry ice. We even add spoons and straws for shakes to complete the Whitey’s experience! Orders are packed in enough dry ice to last 48 hours.
