Here’s the scoop on shipping Whitey’s Ice Cream:

Our standard shipping is a two-day FedEx Express air service. Orders must be received in our order center by 2 p.m. for same-day shipping. We do not ship on holidays. Other services, such as overnight shipping and Saturday delivery, are available at an additional charge. These options are available at checkout when you select your desired arrival date using our “shipping date calendar”. If you will be entering orders that ship to multiple addresses, each order must be handled as a separate transaction.

Individual package prices do not include shipping costs. The “More info” button for each Ice Cream Package shows an estimated price (including shipping) which is meant to give you an IDEA of the total cost of the package. Actual shipping costs are calculated at checkout after the recipients shipping address is provided. All FedEx Express packages are insured for the full value. Whitey’s and FedEx cannot be responsible for orders that could not be delivered as a result of the recipient not being home to accept the delivery. We can also deliver to an office address. FedEx cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Ice Cream Package price includes your ice cream, reusable Styrofoam cooler and 10 pounds of dry ice. We even add spoons and straws for shakes to complete the Whitey’s experience! Orders are packed in enough dry ice to last 48 hours.

A complimentary personalized gift card may be included with your order. Use the “gift message” space on the shipping information page to add a special message.

Snowballs: A scoop of vanilla ice cream rolled in coconut and sold in boxes of four. Dollies and candles included for $9.99.

Party Treats: Our Vanilla Cake Roll is sliced into bite-sized pieces, covered in a dark and milk chocolate blend, with half of the treats dipped in chopped mixed-nuts. Available in-store for $13.99 per tray.

Center Bricks: Center Bricks are available in stocking, Christmas tree and bell shapes. These vanilla ice cream bricks are filled at the center with either Peppermint or Crème de Menthe Ice Cream. Available in-store for $6.99 and each Center Brick includes eight servings.

Cake Rolls: Our traditional Cake Roll got a makeover for the holidays with Peppermint Ice Cream or Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream! Whitey’s homemade chocolate cake is rolled up with these two delicious flavors and they are available in-store for $9.95 per Cake Roll which includes 6-8 servings.

Holiday Ice Cream Molds: For more than 60 years we have been making Holiday Ice Cream Molds. These hand-painted, vanilla or crème de menthe ice cream molds come in wreath, bell, Santa Claus, Christmas tree, snowmen and poinsettia shapes. Holiday Molds are available through special order for $4.99 each.

Ice Cream Pie: Our delicious ice cream pies are available in Turtle, Mint Chocolate Chip and Mississippi Mud for $12.99 each.

Holiday flavors are back at Whitey’s! Below is a list of the flavors in all the ways they are available at our locations only.

Peppermint  (Shakes, Dips, 1.75 Gallons) – Peppermint flavored ice cream mixed with peppermint candy bits.

Peppermint Oreo (Shakes, Dips, 1.75 Gallons) – Peppermint flavored ice cream mixed with OREO® cookie pieces.

Egg Nog (Shakes, Dips, Quarts) – Eggnog flavored ice cream with nutmeg and rum flavoring.

Cherry Bon Bon (Shakes, Dips) – Light cherry flavored ice cream with fudge swirled throughout and chocolate covered cherry pieces.

Pumpkin (Shakes, Dips, 1.75 Gallons) – Pumpkin flavored ice cream cooked with our special recipe which includes pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, eggs, and milk.

Cinnamon (Quarts Only) – Cinnamon flavored ice cream.

Grasshopper (Quarts Only) – Mint flavored ice cream.

Saturday, November 9th marks Bob Tunberg’s 100th birthday, and to honor his memory, single dip cones will be ON SALE for $1.00 all day long this Saturday at all locations!

Whitey’s Ice Cream is pleased to announce the 10-year anniversary of Sgt. Camo® Ice Cream along with special pricing to celebrate this milestone throughout the month of November. Profits from Sgt. Camo® go to military veteran organizations, and since 2009 more than $100,000 have been donated.

For the month of November, join us in commemorating this special anniversary with $1.00 off Sgt. Camo® 1.75 qt. containers and $0.50 off each dip of Sgt. Camo® at all Whitey’s locations. Additionally, to celebrate the ongoing partnership with Hy-Vee, the Quad Cities and Clinton Hy-Vee stores are offering the 1.75s of Sgt. Camo for $4.99 for the month.

In August 2009, Whitey’s Ice Cream introduced Sgt. Camo® and designated that all profits from Sgt. Camo® would be allocated to military veteran organizations. Sgt. Camo® also exclusively marched into Hy-Vee grocery stores for the first time in October 2009. To date, with the tremendous support of our customers, Whitey’s has donated more than $100,000. Over the years, Whitey’s has also donated tens of thousands of servings of Sgt. Camo® to numerous military veteran groups. This includes nearly all Honor Flights of the Quad Cities which celebrated their 50^th flight on October 31, 2019. Additionally, Hy-Vee sponsored its 11^th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities on September 12, 2019.

The flavor also marked the first and only time Whitey’s has used camouflaged colored cartons instead of their familiar red and white 1.75 qt. containers. The flavor has been sent to the Pentagon and served at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX for military members and their families before troops were deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sgt. Camo® is a camouflaged colored flavor made with graham cracker ice cream and marshmallow ice cream with a ribbon of Whitey’s famous fudge, giving it a s’more taste.
