Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Whitey’s stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so that our employees can spend time with their families.

We are thrilled to share that Whitey’s Harvest Chipper won first place in the Ice Cream Sandwich Category at the 2024 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest!

We are incredibly proud of the Harvest Chipper, which is a shared effort by all our manufacturing departments! The pumpkin flavor is made by mixing our special blend of spices with real pumpkin and slow roasted by our kitchen staff. This perfect blend is added to our ice cream by the manufacturing staff in order to create the perfect Pumpkin Ice Cream. The spice cookies are homemade by our baker and used to assemble the Harvest Chipper! 

The World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association includes all dairy products.

Over 96 classes are judged; cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream, gelato, cottage cheese, fluid milk, dry milk, whipping cream, sour cream, and whey processors have a unique opportunity to compete in a prestigious, international all-dairy contest. The winning companies are afforded the opportunity to promote and market their products as “the best of the best”. Each entry was carefully judged by a panel of industry experts.

What’s better than homemade pie over the holidays? Homemade pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream from Whitey’s! Our delicious Cinnamon Ice Cream is available in pre-packaged quarts only and is available in our stores now.

To honor those who have served on Veterans Day weekend, our stores will be offering $1.00 off Sgt. Camo® 1.5 qt. containers starting today (November 9) through Monday (November 11).

Sgt. Camo is made with graham cracker and marshmallow ice cream featuring a ribbon of fudge, giving it a delicious s’more taste and a camouflaged appearance. Since its creation in 2009, 15 years ago, we have donated more than $145,000 to Military Veterans Groups. It is a cause we are proud to support, and we are thankful for our customers that help make it possible.

Nothing says classic fall treat like Apple Pie, so our November Treat of the Month is an Apple Pie Shake! This amazing shake includes our Graham Central Station Ice Cream and delicious apple pie filling, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon!

Pumpkin Shakes are back in stores starting today!

It was a bit of a wait this year and we appreciate everyone’s patience. Starting today, our famous Pumpkin Shakes are back at all eight of our locations.

Due to an equipment malfunction at our manufacturing plant, we suffered a significant loss of product. We might run out of certain flavors for a short time and appreciate your patience as we work tirelessly to rebuild our inventory.

Our August Treat of the Month is a Strawberry Sundae! We’re rounding out the summer with a classic summer treat and it will be on sale in all sizes for the month of August! Find your nearest Whitey’s Ice Cream location here.
