Pumpkin is back at Whitey’s Ice Cream! Our Pumpkin Ice Cream is popular across the country and is made with our special recipe. The recipe is Norma Tunberg’s very own pumpkin pie recipe. There are several ways to try our Pumpkin including dips, shakes, yogurt, etc. Be sure to try them all before fall is over!

Bix7 and RAGBRAI 2018
An exciting weekend is about to commence here in the Quad Cities with the annual Bix7 and RAGBRAI both taking place downtown Davenport.
The Bix7 kicked off last night with the annual Brady Street Sprints. Team Whitey’s Ice Cream won the sponsor sprints for the second year in a row! Huge congrats to team members Katie Platt, Michael Alfinson, Andrew Wright and Keith Picolet. Check out their win here:

The Daily Meal’s “World’s 50 Best Ice Cream Parlors”
The Daily Meal takes ice cream almost as seriously as we do, and their “talented team of travel and food editors, writers, and contributors who have traveled extensively, taste-testing ice cream in all corners of the world” have named Whitey’s Ice Cream as one of “The World’s 50 Best Ice Cream Parlors“. Whitey’s came in at #17 with some of our new and summer flavors featured.
According to their website, they “started with a list of 150 ice cream parlors and shops and whittled the list down via a scoring system that evaluated establishments based on six factors: recipe and preparation; ingredients (freshness, lack of additives, etc.); taste and texture; originality and creativity; ambiance, service, and experience; and acclaim (critical and overall popularity with locals and visitors alike).”
